Justin Keena

Justin Keena is currently embarking on a world-wide project called http://whatsyoursanctuary.com/.

Justin Keena is a photographer and director based in Boston, Massachusetts, with a background in editorial and commercial portraiture and action sports shots. He is constantly traveling and shooting the beautiful and forgotten corners of the world and the people he finds there.

He grew up in a small town, skating home made ramps and borrowing his parents cameras and now has a studio in Boston and has worked with clients such at Burton, GNU, Columbia Sportswear, CNCPTS, and the Institute of Contemporary Art.

Justin is currently pursuing a year-long project entitled Finding Sanctuary dedicated to creating in-depth portraits of people all around the world in their self-defined sanctuaries. Through photography, film, verbal and written word, he will explore the myriad ways human beings seek peace and solitude in an increasingly global and technologically frantic age.
